2. Game Settings Optimization for a Better Experience – Automatic Adjustment in Our App
As we all know, default game settings (often high) are often not the best, which is why it’s worth configuring them manually to achieve a more competitive feeling. Our app allows you not only to optimize settings for better gameplay but also to do it fully automatically, saving your time and providing the best possible gaming conditions.
How to Optimize the Game in the App?
3. While in the Fortnite tab under Game Optimization, proceed with the following steps:
- Game Optimization – To optimize the game settings, go to the Optimization tab and click the green “Optimize” button. This process will automatically adjust the game parameters, improving smoothness and performance.
- LOD BIAS Texture Optimization – If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you can enable the LOD Bias option, which reduces texture resolution to improve performance.
Results Before and After Game Optimization
As shown in the tests below, the results before and after speak for themselves. Default game settings have always been mediocre and should be adjusted. With our app, these settings, as well as additional game file optimizations, are improved.

3. Additional Fullscreen Optimization with SmoothWizard PRO and Free Service Optimization
SmoothWizard PRO provides additional fullscreen optimization, improving game smoothness and reducing latency. With intelligent settings adjustments, you can enjoy a more responsive gameplay experience without unnecessary disruptions.
Which Settings Should You Focus on in Pro Optimization?
1. First, go to the “Optimize System” tab
To achieve the highest possible FPS, simply click the green “Optimize” button, and the app will automatically select the best possible settings for your system.
For some settings to take effect, you must restart your computer. Do not ignore this message, as changing these settings without a system reboot may cause performance issues.
3. Go to the “Pro Optimizations” tab
The Pro Optimizations tab contains numerous features designed to reduce your computer’s load while playing your chosen game. These optimizations only activate when the game is running and do not affect system performance outside of gameplay. Here, you’ll find options such as:
- Disabling System Interface – Completely disables the Windows interface during gameplay (including the taskbar and desktop).
- Minimization Assist Mask – A windowed/fullscreen overlay (also known as a wallpaper) that makes minimizing certain games easier.
- Processor Core Control – A BETA test feature that manages which CPU cores run specific applications. It’s worth testing, but it may cause lag issues with Discord, keyboard, or mouse (this will be fixed in future updates).
- Optimization Delay – Useful for older computers.
- Exclusion List – Disables optimization for selected processes.
- Enforcement List – Forces optimization even in windowed applications.
- Suspension List – Allows selected processes to be paused.
- Displays a window that allows you to quickly disable Pro Optimization and restore the system to its original state.
Recommended options are preset by the application by default, but the lists are not filled. To achieve the best possible effect, you should add unnecessary processes to the Additional Process Suspension List.
After configuring the appropriate optimization settings, you can activate it. Additionally, we recommend enabling the Pro Optimization Autostart, as well as the application itself, in the Settings tab on the top bar to simplify app usage.
You can add the following processes to the additional process suspension list:
- Programs responsible for updating other software
- Programs responsible for system interface operations (animated wallpapers, window management enhancements, etc.)
- Unnecessary programs during gameplay, such as browsers, etc. (They won’t be closed, only suspended, so you can return to them after the game.)
Remember not to add processes responsible for the mouse or keyboard to the list, as this may cause them to lag or become unresponsive.
Free Optimizations in the App
- By going to the Optimization tab, you will find free service optimization and more.
This tab contains a free optimization feature that takes effect immediately after activation.
- Disabling Xbox Services – Uncheck this option if you play games from Xbox (Microsoft Store).
- Partial Disabling of Windows Defender – Not recommended for security reasons.
- Disabling RAM Compression – Recommended if you have 16GB of RAM or more.
- Change Power Plan – Switches the power plan to High Performance mode.
SmoothWizard also offers free tools that significantly enhance the Windows user experience. Among them, you will find:
🔹 Temporary File Cleanup – Removes unnecessary files, freeing up disk space and speeding up the system.
🔹 Quick Task Manager Launch – Easy access to process management.
🔹 Automatic Best DNS Search – Improves internet connection stability and speed.
🔹 Internet Speed Boost – Optimizes network settings for better performance.
🔹 Change Right-Click Menu to Classic (Windows 10) – Restores the classic context menu appearance.
🔹 System Error Repair – Automatic diagnostics and troubleshooting of system issues.
🔹 Many other optimization tools – Tailored to improve performance and stability.
With SmoothWizard, you can easily manage your computer, improve its performance, and ensure smooth and stable system operation – for both gaming and everyday use. 🚀
