How to unlock Roblox FPS without a third-party unlocker
Since 30 May 2024, on Windows Roblox you raise the cap in Esc, then Settings, Maximum Frame Rate. Default stays around 60 FPS. Pick a value up to 240. Set Graphics Mode to Manual and drop quality if the GPU cannot hold it. SmoothWizard power plan is Basic. Roblox config and window priority are PRO. Process pause in PRO catches a full monitor or the detection list.
Until May 2024 people hunted a separate FPS unlocker, because the client held about 60 FPS. On 30 May 2024 Roblox shipped Maximum Frame Rate on Windows. No promised frame count on your PC.
Why it stutters
Until 30 May 2024 Roblox held the client near 60 FPS. Players used a third-party unlocker and Fast Flags. That day staff posted Maximum Frame Rate on Windows, with Default, 60, 120, 144, and 240. Launch was Windows-only. Mac was later, with no date. Phones keep their own cap. Default is not your monitor refresh rate. SmoothWizard does not click that menu for you. Roblox config and window priority live in the PRO catalog. Roblox often does not cover the monitor, so process pause in PRO also uses the Non-fullscreen game detection list.

Open Maximum Frame Rate
Since 30 May 2024 this is the official menu, not a separate exe. Launch an experience on Windows. Esc, then Settings. Maximum Frame Rate: Default stays around 60 FPS. Pick 120, 144, 165, or 240 for your monitor. That is not a promise your PC will hold it.

Set Graphics Mode to Manual
In the same Settings panel set Graphics Mode to Manual. Drop Graphics Quality if frames fall under the cap you chose. Automatic will cut quality on its own to keep motion smooth.

Check frames in the client
Shift+F5 in the client shows stats. Watch the frame time in that experience, not a number from an unlocker ad. Another place has a different cost.

Run Basic before you touch config
The Basic optimize tab is Free. Check Change Power Plan on Intel. On AMD you test it on and off. Check Turn off memory compression. Set Fullscreen flip mode (FSO) to Legacy. Then run optimize.

Roblox config is in Optimize Games
Optimize Games is PRO, trial is 7 days. Find Roblox on the list. Click optimize and pick the folder where the app sees the file. The app keeps a backup. Window priority is in the same profile.

Process pause does not need Display Mode Fullscreen
Process pause is PRO. A session starts when the window covers the monitor, or when RobloxPlayerBeta is on the Non-fullscreen game detection list. Roblox often runs in a window, so that list matters here.

Overlays and a second booster stay off
Turn off Discord Game Overlay, NVIDIA, and Xbox Game Bar for the test. Shader cache is cleaned from the tray. Do not run a second booster next to SmoothWizard.

Do not load a third-party unlocker
Since 30 May 2024 a separate Roblox FPS exe is not the official path. Roblox warns those tools poke internal flags. The supported path is Maximum Frame Rate in Settings plus SmoothWizard from the catalog.

Keep Roblox UI names in English: Settings, Maximum Frame Rate, Default, Graphics Mode, Manual. In the app: Optimize Games, Turn off memory compression, Fullscreen flip mode (FSO), Legacy. 240 is the client cap, not your result.
