FPS booster or a checklist? Shaders and overlays first
A booster will not rebuild shaders after a patch or turn Discord overlay off for you. Order: shader cache, overlays off, power plan, fullscreen. SmoothWizard does not read game memory or inject an overlay. Power plan is Basic. Pausing chosen processes on fullscreen is PRO. Two boosters at once fight each other.
Ads promise frames. Frametime dies from cache, an overlay, or battery. That is testable.

What a booster will not do
It will not compile CS2 / Valorant / Fortnite shaders. It will not assign the dGPU. It will not disable Steam Overlay. Those are game and Windows menus.

A 15-minute checklist
Clear shader cache, overlays off, play plugged in, V-Sync off, cap to Hz. Only then tidy Windows background.

Tray: Clean shader cache. Basic: SmoothWizard power plan. PRO: process pause and Game DVR in Optimize System. There is no mode named Match Ready.

When overlays and power are already sane, and background (Chrome, launchers) still eats CPU. Pause is PRO, not Free.

Is SmoothWizard an injector booster?
No. It does not read title memory or inject an overlay into CS2 / Valorant / Fortnite.
Why a booster 'does nothing' after a patch?
Because the shader cache is the cause. DM / Range / Creative first, then Windows background.
Does Free pause processes?
No. Pausing chosen processes on fullscreen is PRO. 7-day trial.
